The
crews are busy in Ames with the Dayton Road widening project.
Dayton Road is right outside our Ready Mix plant in
Ames. The general contractor for this job is PCI with
Manatts serving as the sub-contractor doing paving and
subdrain work. Monte and crew have been busy putting
subdrain and boxes in while the rest of the guys supply
concrete.
In
addition to the widening project, Godberson Smith is doing an
overpass over the railroad tracks. By the time this
project is complete, we will have supplied approx. 1000 yards
of concrete.
If
you are headed to the Ames Plant you will need to come in from
the south; exit I-35
at Hwy. 30, then turn north on Dayton Road.
November
1 is the projected completion date for this project.
