Our 3rd
Annual Manatt Companies Corporate Retreat was held January 29th
– 31st,
2004 at the T & C Hunt Club in Arcadia, Kansas. The owners and
managers from Manatts, Inc. and their sister companies met for two
days of goal setting and social capital. Our facilitator was Susan
Wilson with Executive Strategies. Along with other items of
business, we reviewed our objectives and guidelines, and
reestablished our goals. Our seven new and revised goals are as
follows:

The outcome of
these retreats proves to be a positive one for the Organizations as
a whole. We have established good, open communication. Many great
ideas were discussed with some being implemented. We are starting
to see a return on the Best Practices Committees. More work is
needed on Manatts safety, along with better communication and
implementation in the training area. Oh yes, the group did get to
do some hunting, and an enjoyable time was had by all.
