Wendling Quarries, Inc. will again be sponsoring “Louie’s Reading Club” as part of supporting minor league baseball in Clinton, Iowa. The Clinton Lumberkings, 1A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, make free game tickets available to area students as a reward for reading. We take pride in initiatives such this one, which contribute to our local communities.

We have also planned our summer baseball outings for Wendling employees and their families (dates to be announced). Participation was so good last summer that we have decided again to plan picnics with our local minor league teams in Clinton and Cedar Rapids. Thanks for making these a success, and we hope to see you all again next summer.
