Wendling Quarries, Inc., De Witt, Iowa employees have been honored for working without a lost-time accident in 2003.

Employees on the following Wendling crews were among those honored at a recent Iowa Limestone Producers Association safety conference:  Quality Control Dept, Moscow Shop, DeWitt Shop, Drilling, Equipment Trucking, Stripping Crew, Dredging, Dry Sand Operations, Adler Wash Plant, Simmermacher Wash Plant, Kagemann Crushing, Heinsius Crushing, Fisher Crushing, and Skladzien Crushing.

The Limestone Producers Association awards companies and individual crews annually to recognize those employees who strive and succeed in making safety part of their every day activity.  These individuals are credited with making mining operations in Iowa a safe place to work.
