Dear John,

Just a quick note to sincerely thank you and your fantastic team, Manatts, Inc., for hosting our largest ACI Certification Level I Training Program, held on December 16-17, 2003.  We had a total of 40 participants.

John, a special thanks to Chris and Ken for putting it together.  The classroom was wonderful for the classroom instruction.  The  Concrete Dispatch Facility was perfect for the Performance Examination.  The team at the Concrete Dispatch Facility was great.  They assisted us with everything, concrete placement, clean-up, etc.  A special thank you to those folks.

That’s what makes it so exciting working for the Iowa Ready Mixed Concrete Association, the special people, the team support and the partnerships.

I am writing this letter in regard to some paving work that was done near my home last spring in Wever, Iowa.  Although it is nearly nine months delinquent, I have been meaning to give you some positive input on your company and it’s employees.

Gary Bacon, Dan Bracy, Sid Mancillaz, under the supervision of the plant manager, Steve Naderman, and project supervisor, Graham Cunningham, did a remarkable job.  Although it can be inconvenient while road work is being done, the residents of our community were very excited that it was finally getting paved.  Gary, Dan, Sid, Steve, and Graham got the job done efficiently, and were always very pleasant and friendly.  I personally had the privilege of meeting these gentlemen when I offered my assistance in finding a batch plant site.

Since I am a business owner myself, I feel that it is important to praise a job well done.  Not only does it increase company moral in the employees being complimented, but it sets a standard for the entire company. 

Again, I appreciate your company’s timely manner and etiquette.
