We are starting our first in-house QMC mix for Mahaska County. This will be done in the Brooklyn Lab. Also, we will be putting together a portable core drill unit on a trailer. This will be self-contained and mobile. It will be based at the Brooklyn Lab.

We have decided to base a profilograph in the Waterloo area. Kevin Sorenson has done a lot of extra work this year with the profilograph. This will help increase our coverage area.

HMA has been very busy. We loaned Sally Slaven to Wendling for a week. She is back now keeping ahead of the asphalt crews with mix design.
