It was with great sadness that many of us experienced the death of a fellow co-worker and friend.  Monday, December 6, 2004, Joan (Joni) Linder, age 44, was involved in a fatal vehicle accident near Vinton.

Joni started working for Manatts in April, 1991 as a flagger and quickly moved into the Quality Control Division as a lab technician.  Since she did testing on projects all over Iowa, Joni was known by many people throughout Manatts as well as the IDOT, county engineers, and sub-contractors.   Joni will always be remembered as a reliable, dependable, hard-working employee. She will be greatly missed by all of us here at Manatts. 

Our sincere sympathy goes out to her husband Jim, and their six children; Jordan, Jesse, Jennifer, Joe, Jamie, and Jasmine.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
