Manatts has had a great year when it comes to the
environment and our people. As I traveled around to the
plants this year, I talked with many friends and am very
proud to be a part of the team that does care about the
water and the impact our construction industry has on
the environment.
Many Manatt employees are hunters,
fisher-persons and general outdoor enthusiasts and they
fully understand the impact of their actions at work on
the very environment they enjoy so much. It's fun
to visit with our co-workers who are getting ready to go
fishing and we talk about the importance of the clean
water and the impact it has on the fish and the same
thing goes for the hunting. We have much to very proud
of!
I'm pleased to report that Manatts received no IDNR
fines this year. We will continue to keep in compliance
with the myriad of regulations out there this next year
and our success is attributed to the employees and
managers who strive to keep the company reputation and
image one of the best in the state.
On another note, as we slow down for winter and get
ready to shut down some of the operations, I am talking
to folks about making sure they have their plant books
in shape and if we need to make some changes in them,
please give me a call and we can work on that. Thanks
for a great season and we can make 2005 even better!
