Well here we go again: the end of the season.  It seems to come so fast each year.  The rock washing plants will be done around Thanksgiving and that means we head towards the final stretch. (That’s the dates between Thanksgiving and Christmas).  Winter repairs will then begin in preparation for the next season.  Yes, we are looking forward to next year already!!  AND many more years to follow. 

I want to THANK YOU all for the contributions you as individuals have made that make this such a great company to work for.  I often get comments about how great our employees are.  Recently, while I was over in the Tama area, a local law enforcement agent told me how well it seems we all get along and that he rarely hears a bad word about Manatts or Wendling Quarries.   I was talking with a man in Cedar Rapids not too long ago and he also mentioned what a good reputation we had both in the paving and the rock business.  Good to hear what we already know.  So again, I say THANK YOU for the good reputation we have.  Keep up the good work.
