On October 9th, 50+ golfers braved the cool weather to participate in the Wendling Quarries 2005 Golf Outing, held this year at Wapsi Oaks Country Club in Calamus, Iowa.

The temperatures were in the mid 50’s with a light breeze.  Despite the cool weather, there were some very good scores this year.  This year’s winning score was an even par (35) shot by Denise and Jeff Schwien (Denise works at Illowa).  Right behind them shooting one over par (36), was Neil and Kate Shaull and one stroke behind them with a (37), was Nicole and Wendell Wuestenberg.
