One
of the most recognizable and durable trucks to have graced
America’s highways is the B Model Mack. Over 30 years have
past since the last B models were produced, yet one can still
see many hard at work today.
The
B series, introduced in 1953, was surely one of Mack’s most
successful and popular products. Its pleasing, rounded
appearance set a new styling standard for trucks (www.macktrucks.com).
Manatt’s,
Inc. bought its first Mack Model B in 1963. Thanks to Dave, you
can now see this restored truck in the Brooklyn Office Lobby
along side the 1947 Studebaker, another display of Dave’s
talents.
Living
up to the Mack reputation, the 1963 Model B63 truck was part of
our fleet until Dave began the restoration process in 1996. It
now appears as it did the first day it was brought “home” in
1963.
Next
time you see Dave, you may want to compliment him for a job well
done!
