In an effort to update our radios and equipment inventory as well as retune and repair them, this winter I am requiring that all company radios and the mics be taken out of vehicles, trailers and equipment. These need to be turned into the Technical Center. On each radio, please put a piece of masking tape on it with the unit number the radio came out of and if the radio worked or not.

As for the vehicles that are still being driven through the winter, we will leave those units in until we are ready to go through them. Don’t panic!  Your truck will not be with out communications. We will replace them with radios that have been gone through when we get to that point.

AMES - arrangements will be made to do yours at Electronic Engineering in Ames.

METRO - this does not include your radios.

WATERLOO - I will make arrangements for yours to be done in the Waterloo area. I will have Dave and Kevin take care of yours.

I will be further explaining what is going on at the Managers meeting this winter. This is going to be a large under taking, but with everyone's cooperation, it should run smoothly.
