Yes, I am totally retired as of October 31, 2003.   Merle Hall asked me what day I would report back to work in 2004. He said there was a pool going around as to what day I would go back to work at Manatt's. I believe he was looking for a little inside info!  Well, I am not planning on coming back, although, I may have to sack groceries at Hy-Vee in order to eat!

Nancy and I are enjoying ourselves at  the Alamo Palms Mobile Home Court in Alamo, Texas. They have all kinds of entertainment such as dances, jam sessions (which we attended today), physical fitness center, pool and shuffle board. Also, we are taking full advantage of the many golf courses around.  In fact, today I played 18 holes at Palm View Golf Course with 3 other gentlemen from our park. We are also  playing the Tierra Santas course on Friday. John and Marlene will remember that course as we almost drowned playing there last year!

 
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people I have worked with over the last 31 years for putting up with me and my nonsense. It was both nerve racking and enjoyable. A lot of water went under the bridge over those years. Thanks, especially to the owners for there guidance and pay checks.
