Jo is the wife of Stan Anderson, the head grounds keeper at Ames.  She has been thru triple by-pass surgery and is on the road to recovery.  We all wish her well.  This is the type of "family" Tom established in Ames.  It's different coming to work for all of us now and adjustments are being made.  As Dewey and I spoke one evening in my office.  We have lost a great leader and friend, but he taught us many things we are now putting to use.  That alone makes us good enough to be dangerous.  From all the employees in Ames, thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

This spring has been an unusually tough one for the Ames Division.  We have lost someone who is very dear to us.  Tom Manatt was an incredible leader as well as a great friend. I want to thank everyone throughout the Manatt's Company for the support given to us at this time.  The entire Ames Division especially deserves my thanks.  They have pulled together as a team to give support and get the jobs done.  This is what Tom has taught us to do and what we will continue to do.
