On May 20th,
Wendling’s Cedar Rapids South Quarry played host
to a group of approximately 60 children from a
Cedar Rapids Community School District
kindergarten class. The field trip is part of
the class’ curriculum in a course about fossils.
The class was first allowed to get out and ogle
one of the Quarry Development department’s
40-ton trucks. Then each individual teacher’s
