The committee started out in DeWitt and went to
Moscow, Preston and Shaffton, respectively. The
group later came back to DeWitt to compare notes
and discuss what they had seen. It was
interesting to hear them talk about the
operations at the other plants. Skeeter
(pictured below), who has been with Wendling for
16 years, said that this was the first time he
had been to Moscow. He remarked on all of the
conveyor belts the plant needs to operate. An
interesting thing to note is that members of our
committee share in an exchange of some really
good and helpful ideas.
During the meeting, Tony Manatt stopped in to
talk and thank them for being on the Field
Safety Committee. The committee members have
already been asking when the next meeting is.
