Brooklyn Building Update
Allen Heintz

The outer shell and insulation is now finished, all overhead doors have been installed, and we are working on the interior. I anticipate the underground work inside will be done this week, and start laying the pipes for the floor heat.

I’m in hopes we will be pouring the floor the week of March 18th. After the floor is cured we will start the interior finish work.

Also as weather cooperates we will start the grade work for the paving crew to start the parking lot.

As most in the office know we bored the fiber optics under the main office building to the phone room in the back area by my office. This was a week some of us will not forget, but will try to very hard. At least it’s over with.

This spring Monte will run a new water main for the city from in front of the main office to the east and then the north. We will tap into that line for the water to the new building.

We are also planning to fill the ditch to the south of the main building to the west corner of Mill Street, which is both an eye sore and a hazard.

Jeff Banes is working on the road elevations for Mill Street. We will raise it to up to help with the drive connection for the building.

I wish to thank Dave H., Alan M., and Marvin S. for all their help this winter.
