I would like to take this opportunity to let
everyone know about some of the changes that
will be taking place in the Parts Department.
First, I want everyone to know that service to
the crews will remain our number one priority.
We were having problems getting the invoicing
and accounting needs to the proper places in a
timely manner, often due to a high volume of
orders being processed.
We decided to combine personnel from 2 areas to
make the flow of orders, invoices, and other
accounting needs more efficient while
maintaining the high degree of customer service
to the crews that you have become accustomed
to. My responsibility is to organize,
administer, and coordinate the duties of the
employees and the interaction between the
accounting department. The other parts
department personnel will continue to ensure the
availability and distribution of those parts to
the various crews. We will be making some
physical changes to the parts room to
accommodate all of the employees and their
duties.
We hope to have most of the changes in place by
March 1 so please bear with us while we combine
these 2 areas to better keep you up and
running. I would appreciate any suggestions
that you believe would help us better serve your
needs in the field, the shops, and the outside
customers. |
