Pictured above are some of the employees at the Waterloo Plant celebrating with Safet Pilipovic (middle) on becoming a United States Citizen. (You pronounce his name “Suffet  Pi lee po vich”.)

He came to the United States from Bosnia and has tried very hard to become a part of our Country and Community.  He speaks and understands English very well.  Even our English Slang!

Safet’s life story is really quite incredible. Those of us who are born in the United States have so much to be thankful for!!! Too often, all of our Freedoms and Rights and Way of Life are taken for granted.

We are proud of Safet and his wife, Dzemila, (pronounced jez mil a)!  She also became a U.S. Citizen the same day as Safet! Way to go!
