Wendling Quarries employees, families, and friends gathered a couple of times this summer for minor league baseball games, one in Cedar Rapids, the other in Clinton.

Along with traditional baseball game food, we were blessed with good summer time weather and a couple of wild high scoring games, in both cases the home team on the losing end, but enjoyable outings none the less.

Both the stadium in Cedar Rapids and the newly remodeled Clinton stadium provide excellent venues for such group gatherings, something we have done for a number of years now. A good way to spend a Sunday afternoon with family and friends!
