This will be the last newsletter that comes out before
cold weather or the end of the season. I would like to remind
everyone about antifreeze checking and end-of-season repair
orders.
For
those of you who do not know, I am responsible to see that we do
not miss checking any equipment. I depend greatly on the people
in the field to help get this done. I have antifreeze check
lists that I will be sending out to all the crews and plants to
fill out. If you do not receive one, call me in Brooklyn and I
will get one to you.
The repair orders that equipment operators and truck
drivers fill out at the end of the season are VERY
important. Without these, it is very difficult for the mechanics
in the shops to know everything that is wrong with a piece of
equipment. We need as much input from the operators as we can
get in order to have the equipment in good shape for the next
season.
I have end-of-year repair orders in my office for anyone
to pick up or call me and I will send them to you.
I would like to thank everyone for their help and
cooperation.
