Controlling runoff and drainage are essential to making a road achieve its life expectancy.  At Manatts we understand how a road should be built, but more importantly, how to build it so it will last.  A functional subdrain system is required for proper drainage of the base and managing surface runoff.  The lack of such a system will result in eroded base and eventual deterioration of the pavement.

This is the reason installing subdrain is essential. As our crew trenched on a wet day the cut immediately filled with 2’ of water. Without proper drainage installed most of this water would be allowed to sit and erode the roadbed!
