2026 ICPA Awards

Nearly 700 transportation leaders gathered in Des Moines for the 62nd Annual Iowa Concrete Paving Workshop, the Midwest’s premier conference for engineers, contractors, and industry experts. The three-day event brought together the region’s top professionals to share insights, discuss innovations, and celebrate exceptional work in the field of concrete paving. Each year, the workshop highlights the importance of quality, safety, and collaboration in building Iowa’s transportation infrastructure.

We are proud to share that our teams were recognized for their outstanding contributions in 2025. Adam and Greg Manatt accepted the Knutson-Smith Award on behalf of their father, Mike Manatt, honoring a legacy of excellence in Iowa concrete paving. This prestigious award celebrates a commitment to quality, innovation, and leadership in the industry—values that continue to guide our work today.

Additionally, Manatt’s, in partnership with the Jones County Engineer’s Office, won in the County Overlays under 100,000 SY category for County Road X31. Steve Bulivac, Portable Plant Manager, PCC, and Kenny Alexander, Paving Superintendent, PCC, accepted the award on behalf of Manatt’s. This recognition reflects the hard work, dedication, and attention to detail that our teams bring to every project.
